Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Hiring

A common theme over the course of my MBA/MS in Information Systems degree program at Boston University was how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be utilized to increase business efficiency and effectiveness across an organization. For my research project in my final year. I chose to look specifically at how AI/ML are being used in hiring. Using these tools in this sector is of particular importance because it can have an impact on individuals both inside and outside of an organization.

The Ethics of Consumer Data and Privacy

In March of 2018 I participated in a Silicon Valley trek during my MBA/MS in Information Systems degree program at Boston University. During our week visiting and meeting with representatives of startups and established corporations, I had the opportunity to think critically about rapid change, disruption, and innovation. I started off the week interested in exploring how company culture and organizational issues can influence the success of startups. By the end of the course however, my attention shifted to data and privacy issues.
